With 8 years of experience in the disability sector, I've developed a comprehensive skill set in supporting individuals with diverse needs. My journey began with direct support work, assisting NDIS participants with daily living tasks, community engagement, personal care, and medication management. I've also provided Positive Behaviour Support, supported employment, and volunteering opportunities. As an NDIS Support Coordinator in the Northern Territory, I've worked with a culturally diverse group of participants, honing my cultural awareness and mental health first aid skills through ongoing training.
Throughout my career, I've gained extensive experience working with children and adults with complex needs, physical conditions and intellectual disabilities.
With a warm, empathetic, and highly motivated approach, I'm dedicated to making a positive difference in your life. As a supportive and encouraging professional, I'll work closely with you to ensure seamless and personalised support. Support Coordination
Support Coordination is a funded support under the NDIS that helps you to understand and implement your NDIS plan. At Elite SC we will provide you with a Support Coordinator that will get to know you and have a firm understanding of your goals and needs to provide you with the highest quality of supports. We will work with you to ensure that you receive the supports and services that are tailored to you and are required for you to remain independent in your everyday life.
Your Support Coordinator is there to support you to have choice and control over your services, providers and how you use the funding in your NDIS Plan.
With a dedicated Support Coordinator by your side, you'll have the power to make informed decisions about your NDIS services, providers, and funding. Your Support Coordinator will:
· Empower you to take control of your support services
· Guide you in navigating the NDIS system
· Help you select service providers that align with your needs
· Enhance your understanding and management of your plan and supports
· Build your capacity for long-term self-management and independence
With Elite SC's Support Coordination, you'll have a trusted partner to support your journey towards autonomy and self-directed care.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides people under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. The NDIS provides people with a disability with the help they need to live independently and achieve their goals.
The NDIS takes a lifetime approach, it not only provides immediate assistance to participants in order to lead an ordinary life from day-to-day, but it also funds supports to help build the skills necessary to live more independently in future.
Everybody has different needs and goals. The NDIS provides individual plans to each participant, and choice and control over which services they receive and from where. NDIS plans will be reviewed on a regular basis, typically every year, to assess whether goals are being achieved and needs are being met. This will determine the funding amounts for supports in the next plan.
Funding amounts are based on what’s ‘reasonable’ and ‘necessary’ for participants to achieve their goals. Whether they have help from friends, family and other government supports will also be taken into account. With that in mind, NDIS funding is broken up into separate budgets, and the approved amounts in each will differ from participant to participant.
